The white EP

Beatles did “The white album”. Metallica did “The black album”. Or, actually I guess that they stole this idea from Spinal Tap, who made an album with an all black cover in 1984. Even though it was called “Smell the glove”. And lately, The Hives made an album called “The black and white album”. Very witty.

So, this is the next in this more or less glorious release, using that theme. “The white EP” by The Rockford Heroes. This is probably the release of among the mentioned releases where the least good song is almost as good as the best song. And definitly the album which challenge most when it comes to the colours on the cover.

Musicwise it’s just what you can expect from The Rockford Heroes. Which is the unexpected. Enjoy your listening!

Beatles gjorde “The white album”. Metallica gjorde “The black album”. Eller, egentligen var väl Spinal Tap först med en helsvart skiva, även om den hette “Smell the glove”. Och nu senast gjorde The Hives “The white and black album”. Fyndigt värre.

Här är då nästa i raden av mer eller mindre klassiska giv på det temat. “The white EP” av The Rockford Heroes. Vad man i princip helt objektivt kan säga om denna release är att den definitivt har den högsta lägsta-nivån, relativt sett mot de övriga låtarna, om man jämför med det tidigare skivorna i serien. Och definitivt den skiva som utmanar mest, rent färgmässigt.

Musikimässigt är det precis vad man kan vänta sig av The Rockford Heroes, det vill säga det oväntade. Lyssna och njut!
