We are really happy to announce that the New York based ezine Rockeyez.com have awarded The Rockford Heroes album Edge of the silverthorn to be the fourth best album 2013. Especially when you consider that Brian Rademacher (the head of Rockeyez.com) listens to at least 20 albums every week.
And competition was of course huge. But that also makes it more enjoyable to see some of the names we beated… E.g. Saxon, WET and The Poddles 🙂
What else could we say? Well, I made some kind of quote which are posted on Rockeyez.com:
“Considering the amount of albums Brian listens to and review, this is a great honor! I mean, there are probably very few people out there who better could judge about what makes a good album.
Now we only have one problem… How could we improve? But of course, you always have to believe you could do better. But the only true things you can rely on is what your heart and soul feels about the things you want to create.”

Vi kan härmed meddela att den New York-baserade nättidningen Rockeyez.com har utnämnt The Rockford Heroes album Edge of the silverthorn till det fjärde bästa albumet under 2013. Känns extra bra när en vet att Brian Rademacher lyssnar på minst 20 nya skivor varje vecka.
Och konkurrensen var så klart inte att leka med. Men det gör det så klart också desto roligare att tänka på vilka band vi slog. På enbart denna lista t ex Saxon, WET och The Poddles 🙂
