Who could have guessed? And could this have been the “standard uniform” for hard rockers all over the world, if Rob was a gardener from the start? I mean, this whole leather and studs came from the gay scen in London.

I mean, when Judas Priest started, they hade more hippie-like clothes. Then Rob, dressed up for a night in the city, once saw himself in the mirror and thought “This is how heavy metal must look like” and started to wear it on stage.

Thus, imagine that Rob was a gardener in the 70s, saw himself in the mirror and thought “This is how heavy metal must look like”… 🙂

Thanks to Anders for sending me this picture! I am not sure how he got it though. Google? Sometimes it’s a slight wonder that anyone could learn anything at all, without the search enginees. Before Google, there where AltaVista, WebCrawler and what else? Anyone who remember? And before that? Stone tablets? Well, at least tablets, I can sort of relate to that 🙂
