Sådana här recensioner gillar man!Reviews you must like!

Av lite olika anledningar (främst för allt jobb med vår cover-setlist) har vi ännu inte hunnit dra igång någon promotion för Edge of the silverthorn. Men det står såklart på min todo-lista för den närmaste tiden.

Därför var det lite oväntat att hitta en första recension av skivan, från 0DAYROCKZ. Och det är sannerligen inte vilken recension som helst. Jag brukar ju alltid lämna lite citat i sådana här poster. Och ibland finns det inga klockrena att använda, i alla fall inte om man vill framhärda hur bra recensenten tyckte att skiva var.

Här är problemet det omvända. Eller ja, problem och problem… Men recensionen kryllar av så mycket positiva omdömen att jag inte riktigt vet vad jag ska välja. Så läs den i sin helhet!

Men för sakens skull. Här är till exempel omdömet om första låten “No reason to believe”:

“Opener “No Reason To Believe” starts very atmospheric increasing the tempo into a melodic chorus with solid harmony vocals. A classic midtempo Melodic Hard rocker blending eighties Madison and the underrated Swedes Damned Nation’s style. Killer track!“

Man tackar och bockar!

Det enda som gör mig lite fundersam är att jag överhuvudtaget aldrig hört talas om flera av banden som nämns i recensionen. Tobruk?? Men förmodligen är dom (av uppenbara anledningar) riktigt bra 🙂

Because of some reasons (mainly the work with our cover set list), we haven’t had the time to start promoting Edge of the silverthorn yet. Even though it of course is on my todo-list for the near future.

So, I was kind of suprised when I found a review of the album today, on 0DAYROCKZ. And what a review! I usually leave one or a few quotes from the reviews in posts like this. And to tell the truth, it’s not always the easiest thing to find a few sentences which really describes how much the reviewer liked the album.

This time, I really have the opposite problem. Or, problem maybe isn’t the right word… 🙂 Anyway, the review is so filled up with fantastic judgement that I don’t really know where to start. So read it!

But, for the sake of things. Here is e.g. the judgement of the opener “No reason to believe”.

The only thing which makes me kind of confused is that the reviewer compare us with a lot of band I never ever heard of. Tobruk?? But probably (for obvious reasons…) it’s a very good band 🙂
