The hope of AndroidAndroid’s hopp

Yesterday was the first time I tried Garageband on an iPad. Very well done. But at the same time encourging for me who prefer Android. Because, the best midi editor is still for that platform. And for me personally, the midi editor (in Cubase or anywhere else) is more or less the only thing I use when I make new songs.

My next thought was that it’s a pity that it’s so long since Budgerigar was updated at all. More than anything with the program, I really miss more time signatures, such as 1/3, 1/6 and 1/12. Of course, the GUI could look better (even thought it’s very userfriendly), and it would be nice if you could record audio tracks and work with loops, but I can do without that so far.

Guess what I found today when I was looking for new updates? Yes, you where right… The time signatures I wanted.

However, I will probably spend most of the following weeks with mixing music only. But after that, I will compose a lot on the subway, on the beach, and so on 🙂
Igår provade jag för första gången Garageband på en iPad. Riktigt snyggt gjort och så. Men samtidigt lite hoppfullt för mig som hellre kör Android. Tyckte faktiskt att den bästa midi-editorn fortfarande finns på den plattformen. Och det är ju ändå i princip bara midi-editorn jag använder för att skissa fram nya låtar.

Nästa tanke var att det är lite synd att det är så länge sen Budgerigar uppdaterades överhuvudtaget. Saknar egentligen mer än något annat möjligheten att använda fler notvärden, t ex 1/3, 1/6 och 1/12. Visst, det hade varit praktiskt om man kunna lägga in loopar och spela in audio också, men det kan jag klara mig utan så länge.

Gissa vad som dök upp idag när jag kollade efter nya uppdateringar? Just precis. De viktiga bitarna jag saknade.
