More is more :) “More is more” :)
more is more
Yngwie Malmsteen (you now, the guy who according toRob Evans på Classic Rock AOR sounded like a beginner compared to the guitarplaying on Edge of the silverthorn :)) have fore sure made his share of classic quotes.
Here is one of them:
“How can less be more? More is more!”
I suppose it’s not unlikely that Anders Ekdahl on Battlehelm.com, thought about this in his recent review of Edge of the silverthorn:
“This is like a mix between Marillion with Fish on vocals and some of the more melodic hardrock bands of the 80s. Throw in a healthy dose of British heavy metal from the NWOBHM era mixed with a dose of Scorpions and Accept and you get a strange brew that works surprisingly well. In this case more is better.”
I wont deny that I somewhat suprised about all those Yngwie references. Well, at least it that was one… What might the next one be? 🙂
More is more
Yngwie Malmsteen (ni vet, han som enligt Rob Evans på Classic Rock AOR framstod som en nybörjare jämfört med gitarrliret på Edge of the silverthorn :)) har gjort många bevingade uttryck.
En riktig klassiker är denna:
“How can less be more? More is more!”
Inte otroligt att det var detta som fanns i bakhuvudet hos Anders Ekdahl på Battlehelm.com, när han nyligen recenserade Edge of the silverthorn:
“This is like a mix between Marillion with Fish on vocals and some of the more melodic hardrock bands of the 80s. Throw in a healthy dose of British heavy metal from the NWOBHM era mixed with a dose of Scorpions and Accept and you get a strange brew that works surprisingly well. In this case more is better.”
Vilken blir vår nästa Yngwie-referens? 🙂
