One of my slightly more excentric hobbies is how to organize cables. So I thought I should start to share my best pieces of advice. Here is a picture showing how to wind-up cables that are too long. It looks nicer, and it will be much easier when you are vacuum cleaing.

My favorite to bundle the cables together is velcro tape.

One this pic you can also see how I attached a multiple socket on the side of the bedside table (also using velcro tape), the is also to make the vacuum cleaing easier. For me, the obvious way is to add the soft side of the velcro tape to the “permanent” object and the rough side on the attachable object, probably because that’s how I’ve done with my previous pedalboards. But I think the opposite way will work out just as fine. Har ett litet special-intresse för att organisera sladd-härvor och tänkte dela med mig av mina bästa tips. Här är en första liten bild som visar hur man på ett hyfsat snyggt sätt tar hand om överflödig längd av en kabel, så att den inte ligger på golvet och är i vägen när man ska dammsuga.

För att bunta ihop sladdarna använder jag kardborre-band på löslängd från Kjell & Co.

På denna bild syns också lite hur jag monterat ett gren-uttag på sidan av nattygsbordet, återigen för att det ska bli lättare att dammsuga. Då använder jag istället självhäftande kardborre-band. För mig känns det rätt att sätta den mjuka sidan av kardborren på det fasta föremålet och den hårda sidan på det avtagbara föremålet, eftersom det är så jag haft det när jag använt kardborre på mina pedalbord. Men egentligen spelar det nog ingen roll.
